Speech from Chief Executive Officer

Bismillahir Rahmanir Rahim.

Distinguished Insured, Patrons and Distinguished Shareholders and Directors.

Assalamu Alaikum wa Rahmatullah.

As the CEO of Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited, I welcome all of you and express my sincere gratitude.

I would like to inform you that in the midst of global adversity and epidemic, Islami Insurance Bangladesh Limited has been able to maintain its strong position by competing with 45 non-life insurance companies in the insurance market, which is based on good relations with valued policyholders, proving of services and expeditious disposal of insurance claims lodged by the insured. Alhamdulillah, our company currently has been rated as AAA level in its credit rating, which is assessed on the company's financial ability to pay claims and uninterrupted ability to pay liabilities. 

You will be assured that the insurance risks of big magnitude are being transferred by facultative Reinsurance cover under Reinsurance Agreement with state owned Sadharan Bima Corporation through risk management for the security of the risks undertaken by the Company. Other risks are being ceded to re-insurer under reinsurance treaty as usual. You will be happy to learn that the Head Office of the Company is operated from our own premises at DR Tower (11 Floor), Parana Paltan, Dhaka and wherefrom business operation through 45 Branch Offices all over the country are conducted.

I believe that your cooperation, support and above all the constant guidance and sincere cooperation of the Members of the Board of Directors, the relentless hard work and efficiency of my dear officials and employees at all levels are playing a pioneering role in moving the company forward. I convey my cordial thanks to everyone for their cooperation.

I pray to Almighty Allah to enable us to run all the activities of the company well and efficiently, Ameen.

Finally, I would like to express my sincere thanks to the valued policyholders, Hon’ble shareholders and Directors of the Board, all Regulatory Authorities and my colleagues.
